QuickNotes Terms of Use
Version: September 2026 — Test Version
These Terms govern the use of QuickNotes, published by TE MAHANA ITI — SASU, BP 1706, 98713 Papeete, French Polynesia. Contact: contact@mahanaiti.com
1. Purpose
QuickNotes allows users to save, organize and retrieve notes, ideas, projects, information, documents, experiences and memories. The App is currently under development and testing; features may change before commercial release.
2. User Accounts
Certain features require an account. Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide and must take reasonable precautions to protect account access.
3. User Content
Users retain ownership of content they add to QuickNotes. TE MAHANA ITI does not acquire ownership of that content. Users authorize processing strictly necessary to operate the service, including storing, technically copying, displaying, synchronizing, analyzing and, at the user’s request, transmitting or sharing content.
4. Responsibility for Content
Users are responsible for content they save or transmit and agree not to use QuickNotes for unlawful content or content infringing the rights of others. Where content concerns another person, users must ensure they have a right or lawful basis to process or transmit it.
5. Artificial Intelligence
QuickNotes uses automated technologies and AI services to assist with creating, analyzing, structuring or organizing notes. These systems may make errors, omit information or incorrectly interpret content. Automatically generated information is an aid; users can review and modify it. QuickNotes should not be the sole basis for decisions where accuracy is critical.
6. Important Documents
QuickNotes helps organize documents and information but is not intended as an official archiving or legally compliant records-retention system. Users should separately retain originals or necessary copies of important documents.
7. Reminders and Notifications
QuickNotes may allow reminders or notifications. TE MAHANA ITI does not guarantee delivery at a specific time; delivery may depend on the device, operating system, network or user settings. QuickNotes should not be the sole alert system for critical situations.
8. Sharing
Certain features allow content to be shared with others. Users are responsible for recipients and shared content. Voluntarily shared content may remain accessible to recipients depending on service operation and actions already taken by them.
9. Availability
TE MAHANA ITI uses reasonable efforts to maintain QuickNotes. Particularly during testing, the service may experience interruptions, errors, changes or unavailability. Continuous availability or complete absence of errors is not guaranteed.
10. Backup and Data Loss
Technical measures are used to protect and preserve data, but no information system can guarantee the complete absence of data loss or corruption. Users should retain originals of information or documents whose loss could have significant consequences.
11. Prohibited Use
Users must not use QuickNotes for unlawful purposes, access others’ accounts or data without authorization, circumvent security, intentionally introduce malicious code or infringe others’ rights. TE MAHANA ITI may take reasonable measures to protect the service and users.
12. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account from QuickNotes. Associated data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy, subject to technical backup periods or legal requirements. Deletion is permanent once completed.
13. Intellectual Property
QuickNotes, its software, presentation, visual identity and elements created by TE MAHANA ITI remain the property of TE MAHANA ITI or their respective rights holders. These Terms transfer no ownership rights in QuickNotes.
14. Third-Party Services
QuickNotes relies on third-party technical services. Certain features may depend on their availability. Principal providers processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes
TE MAHANA ITI may modify QuickNotes to improve the service, security or functionality. These Terms may also be updated. Appropriate notice may be provided for significant changes.
16. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TE MAHANA ITI shall not be liable for consequences resulting from use contrary to QuickNotes’ intended purpose, inaccurate information supplied by a user, unavailability beyond its reasonable control or a decision made solely on automatically generated content. Mandatory user rights remain applicable.
